We had a great time staying at Mena Creekside. The park was super quiet and a nice string of lights in the evening that went off around 10:30pm. The swimming hole was my kids favorite part. It says that it is for the campground members only but there were a good amount of locals enjoying it. It would not have bothered us except some of them acted like we were bothering them and once they realized we were not leaving and the kids were staying to swim, they left instead. Tommy is such an excellent host!! He came by and checked on us everyday. He would give us the weather update (no WiFi and cell service) and he gave us some good places to ride to and visit. He also let our kids head over to his pond to feed his catfish. The hill down to the water hole is super steep. Of course the kids always wanted to head down that way. The rest of us jumped in the ATVs to get to the water hole. This would be our #1 spot if they had any WiFi service. But instead this will be our go-to summer spot and our winter spot will be a park with WiFi. My husband has to work while we are on the road and this made it difficult. He had to ride or drive to another resort to use their WiFi.

Mena Creekside RV Park had been a wonderful place for our family to spend a couple relaxing nights, the kids have loved the swimming hole that is accommodated with the park. Very peaceful and relaxing area with a beautiful view, and amazing owners that care about their guests. Tommy is an extremely nice man that actually visits with his guests, and interacts as a friend. Tommy even took the time to take our little family around on his ATV for some off road sighting of their beautiful area. We recommend this hidden gem. We will most definitely be back.Thank you Mr.Tommy and Mrs.Martha for your hospitality towards our family.Sending love from your Dublin, Tx. friends.

What a hidden gem! Huge sites, mature trees, level gravel pads, full hookups, what more do you need?Close to town but away from traffic noise and city lights. Sit outside and watch the lightning bugs at night or gaze up at the stars. Situated above an easily accessible creek where you can swim in the cool waters on a hot day and relax your mind. It's like boondocking, but with full hookups. Simple, no frills camping, but just what you need to get away from it all. The owner and his wife were super helpful and friendly. Plenty of places to take your dog for a walk or just to get out and explore. Very quiet at night and peaceful as the crickets sing you to sleep.

Mena Creekside is such an incredible little piece of heaven. Having never been to Mena, Tommy was a huge help in pointing us in the right direction on things to see and places to visit and they made us feel right at home. Panoramic views of the creek and neighboring hillside and the Wolfpen Gap trail system is just down the road. We will definitely be back for a summer visit when we can enjoy the refreshing waters right out the back door.

Very nice RV park. We enjoyed our stay. The host, Tommy, was very accommodating and pleasant. Cell phone service is iffy, but it was nice to disconnect and enjoy the peace and quiet! The creek was beautiful and it was fun to feed the fish in the pond a short walk away.

If you need a full hook-up RV park to set up camp in the Mena, AK area, look no further. The owner is as gracious and kind as you could ever want. The grounds are clean and well maintained. It's quiet, scenic, and off the beaten path. It hosts its own private swimming hole. Our 44' 5th wheel fit in our assigned spot with ease. Now, because it does sit back in the woods, you will have to drive down a long dirt road to reach it, but it's worth it. The price point per night is right on par with the current market, and we had no issues making our reservation and funding our stay.

This was a great little spot. Very quiet. Had everything we needed…water, sewer and electric. Enjoyed listening to the calming waters from the creek located behind our site. Tommy, the owner, was super kind by providing us with the best entrance to take and came by later to greet us. Made sure we had everything for an enjoyable stay. Hopefully we can return again next year.

A great little space to relax after riding the trials throughout the national forest. You’re not going to find Rv park accommodations like restrooms, parks for kids or convenient store on this property. But what you do get is friendly hospitality from Mr. Tommy Payne. A place to unwind with a beautiful creek.

While the area is lovely & peaceful, it is still a very new park with only the basics of electric, water & sewage. Nothing on the site indicates no wifi, internet availability. Very difficult to get consistent cell phone coverage.

This rv park is very clean and quiet! It is far enough off the road where you don’t hear the road noise and get covered in dirt. There is enough room to park your trailers for your side by sides and the owner (Tommy Payne) is very nice! They also one of the nicest and biggest swimming hole in Mena. It’s quiet and clean for the kids! We will be staying here from now on.

Mena Arkansas is a must visit I absolutely loved it. Mr and Mrs Payne are such welcoming RV owners. Tommy took time out of his day to show us around and make sure we were settled in. It is a family oriented site; which I love nice and remote. You can take time to read a book, relax get to know each other with out being on phones or games since now the world can't live without it. There is a lake you can get in to cool off. loved my stay.

Wonderful place to stay for an RVer. Very well kept campground with knowledgeable and attentive owners. Similar travel times to 2 different Wolf Pen Gap trail access points. Heed the owners specific entry instructions and you'll be fine. Cell service is unreliable in the area. Tommy went above and beyond for us, offering assistance with breakdowns and obtaining some firewood. Get the map from him, it's very helpful.
